08:00hrs: Pick up from Nairobi Ibis Style hotel and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park.

An easy scenic sightseeing drive via the Great Rift Valley escarpment with views of awesome scenery. There shall be an optional stop to marvel at the dramatic fall of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Along the way, we will have an optional stop at the Freshwater Lake Naivasha for an exciting boat safari experience to view hippos, exotic birds, and small game.

This shall be followed by an optional guided walking safari at Crescent Island (Entry fee not included). Later, proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving during the late morning.

Due to some progressive natural factors like increasing water levels, the flamingo numbers have been reducin,g but the park itself remains stunning – one of Kenya’s finest.

Great rocky escarpments tower over acacia forest, waterfalls, wooded hills, and euphorbia trees dot the lake.

The few number of flamingos is accompanied by other birdlife – pelicans, cormorants, kingfishers, ostriches, storks, as well as herons and eagles. The scene here is bountiful, busy, and full of color.

But that’s only the beginning of what this special park has to offer because the wildlife viewing here is easy and accessible.

Lake Nakuru is known for hosting some endangered but beautiful species. You’re sure to see rare Rothschild’s Giraffe along with white rhino, especially along the lakeshore.

The park is also a sanctuary to one of Kenya’s largest populations of black rhino. Afternoon shall be spent on bird and game watching drives around the Lake.

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza! The Masai Mara Game Reserve remains the most exciting wildlife ecosystem in the Natural world.

It is home to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals of any other wildlife park in the region.

The scenic appeal of the tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate, and the diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop shop for game viewing activities.

We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing, encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.

Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodile,s or maybe the great migration (July – October)

Overnight shall be at our Osero Mara Lodge

Optional early morning Balloon ride over the Maasai Mara plain, followed by a Champagne breakfast at the reserve open savannah, return to the camp for breakfast, and later exit and drive back to Nairobi with an en-route hot lunch stop along the way.

If you are not participating in the Balloon ride, wake up, have breakfast, an optional Masai Village, and later exit and drive to Nairobi with lunch en route.

Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, approximately 4:30 pm. We drop you back to your hotel for overnight awaiting the next day's destination.
